Pick your material, run the numbers, and call us with a load size in hand. Everything here is stocked at the pit on Highway 2.
Class 5 Gravel
3/4" minus, compacts hard and sheds water. The default for driveways, pads, and road base. Meets MnDOT 3138.
Washed Rock
Rinsed 3/8", 3/4", and 1-1/2" stone with no fines. Drains free for French drains, septic, and landscaping.
Rip Rap
Angular limestone and granite, sized by class for shoreline and culvert protection. Holds the bank against ice and wave.
Black Dirt & Topsoil
Screened black dirt for lawns and gardens, plus fill dirt for raising grade. Pulverized garden mix available.
Sand
Fill, concrete, and septic sand. The right gradation for bedding, mixing, mound systems, and beaches.
Fieldstone & Boulders
Glacial fieldstone, river rock, and landscape boulders for walls, accents, and natural shoreline.

Who We Are
Three generations of moving dirt and rock.
Storlie Construction started with one truck and a handful of acres off Highway 2, and we have been hauling gravel and shaping ground in the Bemidji and Cass Lake area ever since. The pit is ours, the equipment is ours, and the people who answer the phone are the same ones running the loader.
That is the difference. When you call us, you are not buying from a yard three counties away. You are working with a Northwoods family that has built driveways, pads, roads, and shorelines for our neighbors for decades, and plans to for decades more.
If we would not put it on our own land, we will not bring it to yours.

We run loads within roughly 50 miles of our pit on Highway 2. If you are in the Bemidji, Cass Lake, or Leech Lake area, we have got you covered.
